Cold Store Gated Security
When new cold store facilities were built in Grenada, Wellington, the owners commissioned a heavy-duty, industrial-sized cantilevered automatic gate for the main entrance.
As occurs with all our consignments, the cantilevered gate went through rigorous testing in our yard. When the video below was taken, the product was not yet wired for automation. That gave us the opportunity to demonstrate the large structure’s engineering precision and ease of control, even without a motor to drive it.
The products’ engineering precision is demonstrated by the ease with which one person can manually open and close it, even before installation and full automation.
At the client’s request we manufactured this industrial cantilevered gate using link chain mesh as an alternative to vertical pipe bars. As with all our heavy industrial gates it was finished with hot-dip galvanising for extra durability.
