Car park barriers for Briscoes, Wgtn

Retailer Briscoes needed to deal with after-hours use and misuse of their store carpark, so they came to The Gateman for a solution.

Briscoes in central Wellington sought a practical barrier system that would function effectively within the landscaping plan of their upgraded car park. What we came up with was a pair of cantilevered sliding beams that would be manageable for staff to operate manually.

Spanning widths of 5.5 metres when closed, the 100 x 100 mm galvanised steel beams with reflecting tape slide on standard cantilever tracks, running over high-quality precision support rollers that make manual operation easy.  Padlocks are used to lock the beams in closed position.

Now Briscoes’ Taranaki Street carpark is a peaceful place after hours, clean, safe and in good repair for the next day’s trading.
